The route on this page goes from Nurenberg to Munchen(Munich), a large city in southeastern Germany. From Nurenberg, the train takes the Nurenberg-Regensburg railway. When the train leaves Nurenberg Hbf Station and passes Dürrenhof, the first station, the Nurenberg-Cheb railway and the Nurenberg Irrenlohe railway, which connect to the Czech Republic, branch off on the left. After joining the Nurenberg Ring Railway and passing Fischbach station, the Nurenberg-Regensburg railway that leads to Austria branches off on the left, and the train enters the Nurenberg-Ingolstadt high-speed railway line.
The maximum speed of Inter City Ewpress on the Nurenberg-Ingolstadt high speed railway is 300 km/h. This high speed railway line opened in 2006 and has a total length of 77.4 km. Thanks to this line, the high speed train ICE can travel between Nurenberg and Munchen in as little as one hour. In addition to ICE trains, the regional express trains with a maximum speed of 200km/h are operated on this line. Express trains stop at Allersberg (Rothsee), the first station on this high speed railway line.

ニュルンベルク・インゴルシュタッド高速新線におけるICEの最高時速は300km/hです。この高速新線は2006年に開業した全長77.4kmの路線です。この路線のおかげで、高速列車ICEはニュルンベルクとミュンヘンを最速１時間程度で運行することができます。この高速新線にはICE以外にも最高速度200km/hの地域急行列車も乗り入れます。高速新線の１つ目の駅、アラースベルク(ロスゼー)駅には急行列車が停車します。
After passing Allersberg (Rothsay) station, the line enters a section of tunnels. The next station, Kinding, is also a stop for express trains.
The fifth and final tunnel after leaving Kinding is called the Audi tunnel, and above the tunnel is the factory of the automobile manufacturer Audi. Shortly after exiting the tunnel, you will arrive at Ingolstadt Nord Station, from where trains go to the Munchen-Treuchtlingen railway all the way to Munchen.

The maximum speed of ICE trains on the Munchen-Treuchtlingen railway line is 200 km/h. The S-Bahn commuter train near Munich runs from Petershausen Station along the way. From this station the line becomes triple tracks, and from Dachau station it becomes four tracks. Shortly after crossing the Munchen Nordring, the train enters the Munchen junction.
ミュンヘン・トロイヒトリンゲン線におけるICEの最高時速は200km/hです。途中のペーターズハウゼン駅からはミュンヘン近郊のSバーン通勤電車が走ります。この駅から路線は３複線になり、ダッハウ駅からは複々線になります。ミュンヘンノルトリングと交差して間もなく列車はミュンヘンのジャンクションに入ります。
At the junction, the Munchen-Regensburg railway line and the Munchen-Augsburg railway line from Augsburg, Stuttgart, Mannheim, and Frankfurt join together. After passing a huge depot and yard, the train arrives at Munchen Hbf terminal.
At Munchen Hbf terminal, you can see TGV trains from Paris, France, and Railjet trains from Wien(Vienna), Austria. Munich Hbf is also Germany's third busiest station after Hamburg Hbf and Frankfurt Hbf.
ジャンクションではミュンヘン・レーゲンスブルク線と、アウグスブルク・シュツットガルト・マンハイム・フランクフルト方面からのミュンヘン・アウグスブルク線が合流します。巨大な車庫とヤードを過ぎると、列車はミュンヘン中央駅に到着します。
ミュンヘン中央駅では、フランス・パリからのTGVや、オーストリア・ウイーンからのレールジェットの列車を見ることができます。ミュンヘン中央駅はまた、ハンブルク中央駅、フランクフルト中央駅に次いでドイツで３番目に乗降客数の多い駅となっています。
