Talca Constitución Railway is a meter gauge railway line in Chile. It connects Talca, a city located about 250 km south of the capital Santiago de Chile, and Constitución, a port town facing the Pacific Ocean.
Regular trains run twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, and are operated by single-cab diesel cars. The Southern Transversal Railway from Santiago de Chile uses Iberian gauge (1,676 mm gauge), which is different from the track width of the Talca Constitucion Railway. A Dual-Gauge turntable is installed inside Taluka station.
タルカ・コンスティトゥシオン鉄道はチリのメーターゲージの鉄道路線です。首都サンティアゴ・デ・チリから南に約250kmの位置にある都市、タルカと太平洋に面する港町、コンスティトゥシオンを結びます。
定期列車は朝と夕方に合わせて１日２往復運転されていて、片運転台式のディーゼルカーで運行されます。サンティアゴ・デ・チリからの南部縦断鉄道はイベリアゲージ(1,676mm軌間)を採用していて、タルカ・コンスティトゥシオン鉄道の線路幅とは異なります。タルカ駅の構内には３線軌のターンテーブルが設置されています。
The train follows a route along the Maule River. Unless there are significant delays, trains on both lines will interchange at Gonzalez-Bastias Station.
列車はマウレ川に沿ったルートを走ります。大幅な遅れがない限り、上下線の列車はゴンザレス・バスティアス駅で行き違いを行います。
After crossing the bridge over the Maule River, the train will arrive at the final stop, Constitución Station. The trains are configured with a single cab, so when turning around, a turntable is used to turn the cars in the opposite direction. The train covers the 88km distance from Talca to Constitución in 3 hours and 27 minutes.
マウレ川の橋を渡ると終点のコンスティトゥシオン駅に到着します。列車の編成は片運転台なので、折り返しの際にはターンテーブルを使用して車両を反対方向に向きを変えます。列車はタルカからコンスティトゥシオンまでの88kmを3時間27分かけて走ります。
