Tokyu Ikegami Line 東急池上線
The Tokyu Ikegami Line was opened in 1922 between Kamata and Ikegami to transport worshipers to Ikegami Honmonji Temple, and was later extended to Gotanda, with a total length of 10.9 km. It was later acquired by Meguro-Kamata Electric Railway and is now a Tokyu Railway line. It is operated by a three-car train of 18m cars.
It used to be a separate system from the Tokyu Tamagawa Line (Mekama Line), which will be described later, and had a separate depot, but now it shares the depot with the Tokyu Tamagawa Line at Yukigaya-Otsuka Station. All trains stop at each station, with eight trains running per hour during the daytime.
東急池上線は、池上本門寺への参拝客輸送のために蒲田～池上間が1922年に開業した路線で、後に五反田まで延伸された全長10.9kmの路線です。後に目黒蒲田電鉄に買収され、現在は東急電鉄の路線となっています。18m車の３両編成で運転されています。
かつては後述する東急多摩川線(目蒲線)とは別系統で、車庫も別々でしたが、現在は東急多摩川線と車庫を雪が谷大塚駅で共有しています。すべての電車が各駅停車で運転され、日中は１時間に８本の電車が運転されています。
La línea Tokyu Ikegami se abrió en 1922 entre Kamata e Ikegami para transportar a los fieles al templo Ikegami Honmonji, y luego se extendió hasta Gotanda, con una longitud total de 10,9 km. Tokyu Mekama Line 東急目蒲線
The Tokyu Mekama Line is a Tokyu railway line that once connected 12.9km from Meguro to Kamata. This line was opened in 1923 by the former Meguro-Kamata Electric Railway. Later, Meguro-Kamata Electric Railway absorbed Ikegami Electric Railway in 1933, merged with Tokyo-Yokohama Electric Railway in 1939, and Tokyu Railway was born as a result of the consolidation of railway companies during the war.
In its later years, the Mekama Line was operated with a four-car train of 18m cars. The Tokyo Metro Namboku Line and the Toei Mita Line came to run on this line, and in 2000 the Mekama Line was separated into the Tokyu Meguro Line between Meguro and Musashi-Kosugi, and the Tokyu Tamagawa Line between Tamagawa and Kamata. At that time, the Tokyu Meguro Line began operating with a 6-car 20m car formation, the Tokyu Tamagawa Line with an 18m 3-car formation, and later the Meguro Line began mutual direct operation with the Namboku Line and Mita Line.
The track layout of the old Mekama Line has changed considerably between 1985 and 2024. Many stations are underground, and the tracks at O-okayama Station and Den-en-chofu Station are elevated to make it easier for passengers to transfer. Currently, some trains on the Meguro Line are operated in eight-car formations, and express trains are also in service. The line has been extended and now runs directly to the Sotetsu Railway Lines via the Tokyu Shin-Yokohama Line.
東急目蒲線は、かつて目黒から蒲田までの12.9kmを結んでいた東急電鉄の鉄道路線です。この路線はかつての目黒蒲田電鉄により1923年に開業しました。後に目黒蒲田電鉄は1933年に池上電気鉄道を吸収し、1939年に東京横浜電鉄と合併、そして戦時中の鉄道会社の統合により東急電鉄が誕生しました。
目蒲線は晩年には18m車両の4両編成で運行されていました。この路線に東京メトロ南北線と都営三田線が乗り入れることになり、2000年に目蒲線は目黒～武蔵小杉間の東急目黒線と多摩川～蒲田間の東急多摩川線に系統が分離されました。当時、東急目黒線は20m車の6両編成で、東急多摩川線は18m3両編成で運行を開始し、その後目黒線は南北線と三田線と相互直通運転を開始しました。
旧目蒲線は1985年時点と2024年時点で線路の配置がかなり変化しています。地下化された駅が多い上、大岡山駅、田園調布駅は乗客が乗り換えをしやすいように双方の路線の線路が立体化されています。現在目黒線では一部の電車が８両編成で運行され、急行電車も運行されています。路線は延伸され、現在は東急新横浜線を介して相鉄線とも直通運転が行われています。

Tokyu Tamagawa Line 東急多摩川線
The Tokyu Tamagawa Line is a 5.6km line that connects Tamagawa Station to Kamata Station. It is operated by a train consisting of 3-car formation 18m cars. The Tokyu Tamagawa Line and Tokyu Ikegami Line have fewer trains than other railway lines and are operated by short-body trains, so some people from overseas introduce these lines as the LRT lines.
Kamata Station is a little far from Keikyu Kamata Station on the Keikyu Railway, which connects to Tokyo Haneda Airport, and takes about 10 minutes on foot. There are plans to construct a line called the "Kamakama Line" from Kamata Station to Keikyu Kamata Station, and the local government, Ota Ward, aims to open the line in the late 2030s.
La línea Tokyu Tamagawa es una línea de 5,6 km que conecta la estación Tamagawa con la estación Kamata. Es operado por un tren que consta de una formación de 3 vagones de 18 m.
