The passenger's railroad company, Amtrak's "Heartland Flyer" is a train that connects Fort Woeth, Texas, and Oklahoma City.

Fort Worth and Dallas are twin cities, and the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area is the most populous metropolitan area in Texas.Fort Worth Central Station also serves the Amtrak "Texas Eagle" from Chicago to San Antonio via Fort Worth, the "Trinity Metro" Light Rail Transit  to DFW Airport, and the "Trinity Railway Express" to Dallas.

After leaving Fort Worth Central Station, the "Heartland Flyer" stops at Gainesville, Ardmore, Pauls Valley, Purcell, Norman befor arriving at Oklahoma City station. 

The train travels 332km from Fortworth to Oklahoma City, taking approximately 4 hours. In the future, Amtrak plans to extend the route of the "Heartland Flyer" from Oklahoma City to Witchita  and Newton.

　フォートワースはダラスと双子都市で、ダラスーフォートワース都市圏はテキサス州で人口第１位です。フォートワース中央駅では「ハートランドフライヤー」の他に、シカゴとサンアントニオをフォートワース経由で結ぶ「テキサスイーグル」号、フォートワースとＤＦＷ空港を結ぶＬＲＴ「トリニティ　メトロ」、フォートワースとダラスを結ぶ「トリニティ　レールウェイ　エクスプレス」が発着します。
　「ハートランドフライヤー」号はフォートワース駅を出るとゲインズヴィル、アードモア、ポールズヴァレー、パーセル、ノーマン、オクラホマシティ駅の順に止まります。
　列車はフォートワースからオクラホマシティまでの332kmの道のりを約4時間かけて走ります。将来アムトラックは「ハートランドフライヤー」号のルートを北にウィチタとニュートンへ延伸する計画を持っています。
