There is an airport access railway called the "Airport Rail Link" from Bangkok to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport, the hub airport of Thai Airways International.The with of the track is different from that of the States Railways of Thailand, and is a standard gauge of 1,435 mm. This line is electrified with 25kV AC.

In Bangkok, the starting point is Phaya Thai Station. An extension line from Phaya Thai to Bangkok's other airport, Don Mueang Airport, is currently under construction.

The States Railways of Thailand Eastern Line runs parallel from Phaya Thai to Lat Krabang. The blue line in the diagram below is the Airport Rail Link track.

　バンコクから　タイ国際航空のハブ空港である　バンコクスワンナプーム国際空港までは、エアポート　レール　リンクと呼ばれる空港アクセス鉄道があります。線路の幅はタイの国鉄と異なり、標準軌の1,435mmのものを採用しています。電化方式は、交流25kvを使用しています。

　バンコクではパヤータイ駅が起点になります。なお、パヤータイから　バンコクのもう一つの空港であるドンムアン空港までの延伸路線が建設中です。

　パヤータイからラートクラバンまではタイ国鉄東線が並行します。下図の青線で示した線がエアポート　レールリンクの線路です。

The States Railways of Thailand's Makkasan Station is located in a different location from the Airport Rail Link's Makkasan (City Air Terminal), and the States Railways of Thailand's Asoke Station is located near the Airport Rail Link's Makkasan (City Air Terminal).Please be careful when using these stations.

There used to be a express train running on this line, but now only the AERA 1 CITY train, which stops at every station, is in service. The red train, which was once manufactured as an express train, has had its interior updated and is now in service with the blue train as AERA 1 CITY. 

The current travel time from Phaya Thai to Suvarnabhumi Airport is about 26 minutes.

　タイ国鉄のマッカサン駅はエアポート　レールリンクのマッカサン(シティエアターミナル)とは異なる場所に位置していて、エアポート　レールリンクのマッカサン(シティ　エア　ターミナル)のそばにはタイ国鉄のアソーク駅があります。利用の際には間違えないように注意が必要です。

　かつてこの路線にはマッカサンからスワンナプーム空港までノンストップの急行電車が走っていましたが、現在は各駅停車のAERA 1 CITYのみ運行されています。かつて急行用として製造された赤色の電車は内装を更新し、AERA 1 CITYとして青色の電車とともに運用されています。現在のパヤータイからスワンナプーム空港までの所要時間は約２６分です。
