This page shows you the section from Sydney to Adelaide of the long-distance passenger train "Indian Pacific" that runs from Sydney to Perth via Adelaide.

In Sydney, Australia's most populous city, trains depart from Sydney Central Station. Sections in the Sydney metropolitan area are electrified with 1,500V DC, and many double-decker commuter trains operated by "Sydney Trains" run.

At Strathfields Station, the Northern Line branches off towards Holmesby, Newcastle and Brisbane.

　オーストラリアで最大の人口を有するシドニーでは、列車はシドニー・セントラル駅を発着します。シドニー都市圏の区間では直流1,500Vで電化されていて、「シドニートレインズ」が運行する2階建ての多数の通勤電車が走ります。

Lidcombe Station is a junction station where the Main Southern Railway Line for Canberra & Melbourne and Olympic Park Line branch off.

The line is quadruple-tracked to St Mary's Station. In the future, St Mary's Station will serve as a transfer station for the Sydney Metro to Sydney Western Airport (currently under construction).

　リドコム駅はキャンベラ・メルボルン方面へのメインサザン線やオリンピックパーク線の分岐するジャンクション駅となっています。
　路線はセントメアリーズ駅まで複々線になっています。セントメアリーズ駅では将来、シドニー西空港(建設中)へ行くシドニー・メトロへの乗換駅になる予定です。

La estación Lidcombe es una estación de cruce donde se bifurcan la línea principal de ferrocarril del sur para Canberra y Melbourne y la línea Olympic Park.

La línea tiene cuádruple vía hasta la estación St Mary's. En el futuro, la estación St Mary's servirá como estación de transferencia del metro de Sydney al aeropuerto Sydney Western (actualmente en construcción).

　Lidcombe站 是 前往 堪培拉 和 墨爾本的主要南方鐵路線 和 奧林匹克公園線的分支站。

"The Indian Pacific'' continues west on the Main Western Railway Line. After passing St Mary's station, the train travels through the mountainous area of ​​the Blue Mountains. This section has slopes and many curves. In the section between Bell and Lithgow stations, trains used to follow a route with multiple switchbacks, but now they pass through 10 Lithgow tunnels. In addition, some parts of the old route remain, such as near Zigzag Station, and the Zigzag Vintage Railway operates steam locomotives and other services.

"El Indian Pacific" continúa hacia el oeste por la línea principal de ferrocarril occidental. Después de pasar la estación de St Mary, el tren atraviesa la zona montañosa de las Montañas Azules. Este tramo tiene pendientes y muchas curvas. En el tramo entre Bell y Lithgow estaciones, los trenes solían seguir una ruta con múltiples curvas, pero ahora pasan por 10 túneles de Lithgow. Además, algunas partes de la ruta antigua permanecen, como cerca de la estación Zigzag, y el Zigzag Vintage Railway opera locomotoras de vapor y otros servicios.

Lithgow Station is the terminus for most trains on the Blue Mountain Line from Sydney, and is also where the electrified section from Sydney ends. Several Blue Mountain Line trains(diesel car) will continue to run to Bathurst Station. The section up to Wallerawang Station is a double track section, and the section from Wallerawang to Orange is a mixture of double track and single track.

　リスゴー駅はシドニーからのブルー・マウンテン線のほとんどの列車の終点の駅で、シドニーからの電化区間もこの駅で終了します。なお、数本のブルー・マウンテン線の列車(気動車)はこの先バサースト駅まで運行されます。ワレラワン駅までが複線区間で、ワレラワンからオレンジまでの区間は複線と単線が混在した区間となります。

La estación Lithgow es la terminal de la mayoría de los trenes de la línea Blue Mountain desde Sydney, y también es donde termina la sección electrificada desde Sydney. Varios trenes de la Blue Mountain Line (vagones diésel) seguirán circulando hasta la estación de Bathurst.  El tramo hasta la estación Wallerawang es un tramo de doble vía, y el tramo de Wallerawang a Orange es una mezcla de doble vía y vía única.

　Lithgow站 是 大多數 從 雪梨出發的 Blue Mountain線列車的終點站，也是 從 雪梨出發的 電氣化路段的終點站。多班Blue Mountain線火車（柴油車）將繼續運行 至 Bathurst 站。至 Wallerawang 站的路段為雙軌路段，從 Wallerawang 至 Orange 的路段為 雙軌 和 單軌混合路段。

Orange is a town located about 300km from Sydney. Although the town is called Orange, oranges are not grown in the town due to frost in the winter, but peaches, cherries, grapes, and apricots are grown instead.

The Main Western Line (Dubbo Line) branches at Orange. The "XPT" passenger train runs from Sydney to Dubbo. "The Indian Pacific'' joins the Broken Hill line from Orange.

　オレンジはシドニーから300km程の場所にある町です。この町はオレンジという名前ではありますが、オレンジは冬季に霜が降りてしまうため栽培されておらず、桃、サクランボ、ブドウ、アプリコットが栽培されているようです。
　オレンジではメイン・ウェスタン線(ダッボ線)が分岐します。シドニーからダッボまではXPTという旅客列車が運行されています。「ジ・インディアンパシフィック号」はオレンジからブロークンヒル線に入ります。

Orange es una ciudad situada a unos 300 kilómetros de Sydney. Aunque el pueblo se llama Orange, en el pueblo no se cultivan naranjas debido a las heladas del invierno, sino que se cultivan melocotones, cerezas, uvas y albaricoques.

La línea principal occidental (línea Dubbo) se bifurca en Orange. El tren de pasajeros "XPT" va de Sydney a Dubbo. "El Indian Pacific'' se une a la línea Broken Hill procedente de Orange.

Broken Hill is a town located in western New South Wales, close to the border with Western Australia. In addition to the once-weekly "The Indian Pacific'' train, the weekly "Explorer'' from Sydney also stops at this station.

　ブロークンヒルはニューサウスウェールズ西部に位置する町で、西オーストラリア州との州境に近い街です。この駅には週１便の「ジ・インディアン・パシフィック」号の他、シドニーからの週１便の「エクスプローラー」も停車します。

Broken Hill es una ciudad situada en el oeste de Nueva Gales del Sur, cerca de la frontera con Australia Occidental. Además del tren semanal "The Indian Pacific", también para en esta estación el "Explorer" semanal procedente de Sídney.

　Broken Hill 是位於 新南威爾斯州西部的一個小鎮，靠近 西澳大利亞州邊境。除了每週一班的「The Indian Pacific」列車外，每週一班 從 雪梨出發的「Explorer」列車也停靠此站。

The Broken Hill line joins the Trans Australian Railway at Crystal Brook junction.

Adelaide Metro Gawler line joins at Salisbury Station, creating triple-track from Salisbury to Adelaide. However, the Adelaide Metro uses the 1,600mm gauge, which is different from the Trans-Australian Railway Line, so it essentially has three tracks: single-track and double-track.

　サリスベリ―駅ではアデレード・メトロのゴーラー線が合流し、サリスベリ―からアデレードまでは３複線になります。但し、アデレード・メトロはトランス・オーストラリアン鉄道線とは異なる1,600mmのゲージを採用しているため、実質的には単線と複線の３線路になります。

La línea Adelaide Metro Gawler se une en la estación Salisbury, creando una vía triple desde Salisbury a Adelaide. Sin embargo, el metro de Adelaide utiliza el ancho de 1.600 mm, que es diferente de la línea ferroviaria Adelaide-Darwin, por lo que esencialmente tiene tres vías: vía única y vía doble.

The Adelaide Metro departs from Adelaide Station, but the trains "The Indian Pacific'' for Perth or Sydney, "The Ghan" for Darwin, and "The Overland'' for Melbourne departs from Adelaide Parklands Terminal, where is located southwest of Adelaide Station.  "The Indian Pacific" train travels approximately 1,690km from Sydney to Adelaide in about 30 hours.

"The Indian Pacific", "The Ghan" and "The Overland" long-distance trains are operated by Journey Beyond Rail, and Adelaide Parklands Terminal is a hub station for passenger trains of Journey Beyond Rail.

　アデレード・メトロはアデレード駅を発着しますが、「ジ・インディアン・パシフィック」号のパース行きとシドニー行き、「ザ・ガン」号のダーウィン行き、「ジ・オーバーランド号」のメルボルン行きの列車はアデレード駅から南西にあるアデレード・パークランズターミナルを発着します。「ジ・インディアン・パシフィック」号はシドニーからアデレードまでの約1,690kmを、約30時間かけて走行します。
　「ジ・インディアン・パシフィック」、「ザ・ガン」、「ジ・オーバーランド」の各長距離列車はジャーニー・ビヨンド・レールによって運行されていて、アデレード・パークランズターミナルはジャーニー・ビヨンド・レールが運行する旅客列車のハブ駅となっています。

El metro de Adelaide sale de la estación de Adelaide, pero los trenes "The Indian Pacific" para Perth o Sydney, "The Ghan" para Darwin y "The Overland" para Melbourne salen de Adelaide Parklands Terminal, donde se encuentra al suroeste de la estación de Adelaide. El tren "The Indian Pacific" recorre aproximadamente 1.690 kilómetros desde Sydney a Adelaida en unas 30 horas.
