There is a railway line called the "Westbahn" that runs from Wien(Vienna), the capital of Austria, to western Austria. The express train runs on the Westburn at a maximum speed of 230km/h. Wien is Austria's largest city, with a metropolitan population of over 2.8 million people.
The train departs from Wien Hbf(Vienna Central) Station. The line is electrified with AC 15kV 16.7Hz. The route is multi-track, and the tracks are clearly separated for long-distance trains and short-distance trains called S-Bahn.

When the train passes Meidling Station, the "Sudbahn (Southern Railway)'' heading toward Graz and Venezia(Venice) branches off on the left, enters the Lainzer Tunnel, and begins running at 160km/h. Abzw Knoten Hadersdorf is the junction where the existing Westbahn from Wien West Railway Station joins, after which trains reach a maximum speed of 230 km/h.
列車がマイドリング駅を過ぎると左手にグラーツ・ヴェネツィア方面への「サド・バーン(南部鉄道)」が分岐し、ラインツァートンネルに入り160km/h運転を始めます。Abzwノード ハーダースドルフはウイーン西駅からの既存のウェストバーンが合流するジャンクションとなっており、このジャンクションを過ぎると列車は最高時速230km/hに達します。
The Tullnerfelder Railway joins at Tullnerfeld Station. The Westbahn and the Tullnerfelder Railway run parallel to each other from Tullnerfeld to Michelhausen.
As the train approaches St. Polten after passing through the tunnel in the mountainous area, the existing Westbahn joins and the freight bypass line that bypasses St. Polten branches off. From St. Pölten station, trains travel at a maximum speed of 200 km/h.

At the Knoten Rohr junction, the St. Polten freight bypass line rejoins, and high-speed trains once again enter the dedicated track. Beyond this junction, the rail tracks for high-speed trains and local (freight) trains are separated.

Linz is a city located in central Austria along the Donau River, and as there is a port on the Donau River, the steel industry is thriving, and in recent years, academic and research activities have become active, as well as theater and artistic activities. The Westbahn train runs about 190km from Wien to Linz in 1 hour 20 to 30 minutes.
In addition to the 230 km/h maximum speed "Railjet" and "ICE" (mainly used for trains, "ICE-T" or "ICE-4" bound for Germany) operated by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), Westbahn also has new access operator, the "WESTbahn Management GmbH". The trains of "WESTbahn Management GmbH" operate at a speed of 200km/h.
リンツはオーストリア中央部に位置するドナウ川沿いの都市で、ドナウ川に港があることから鉄鋼産業が盛んで、更に近年では学術・研究などが盛んになっているほか、演劇・芸術活動の振興に力を注いでいます。列車はウイーンからリンツまでの約190kmを所要時間1時間20~30分で走ります。
ウェストバーンにはオーストリア連邦鉄道(OBB)が運営する最高速度230km/hのレールジェットとICE(主にドイツ方面行きの列車に使用されるICE-TとICE-4)の他、新規参入事業者としてウェストバーン・マネジメントGmbHが最高速度200km/hの列車を運行しています。
