Medellin is Colombia's second most populous city, located at an altitude of 1,500 meters in the Andes Mountains called Abra Valley. Medellin Metro Line A runs along the route along the Medellin River.

The Medellin Metro Line A uses a 1,435mm gauge and is electrified with 1500V DC. All lines are double-tracked, and there are no railroad crossings as they mainly run on elevated tracks. Trains depart from Niquia Station in the city of Bello, north of Medellin.

There is a depot near Bello Station, and in addition to Line A, Line B trainsets also use this depot. At Acevedo Station, cable car Lines K and P connect. Medellin's metro has cable car lines. Line C branches off at Caribe Station. There is usually no passenger service on the Line C, and the rail track follows the Line B tracks.

　ベロ駅のそばには車庫があり、A線の他にB線の車両もこの車庫を使用します。アセベド駅ではケーブルカーのK線とP線が接続します。メデジンのメトロにはケーブルカーの路線があるのが特徴です。カリブ駅ではC線が分岐します。C線では通常は旅客営業は行われておらず、C線の線路はB線の線路に続いています。

Medellín es la segunda ciudad más poblada de Colombia, ubicada a una altitud de 1.500 metros en la Cordillera de los Andes llamada Valle del Abra. La Línea A del Metro de Medellín recorre la ruta a lo largo del Río Medellín.

La Línea A del Metro de Medellín utiliza un ancho de vía de 1.435 mm y está electrificada con 1500 V CC. Todas las líneas son de doble vía y no hay cruces ferroviarios, ya que circulan principalmente por vías elevadas. Los trenes parten de la Estación Niquía en la ciudad de Bello, al norte de Medellín.

Hay una estación cerca de la Estación Bello y, además de la Línea A, también utilizan esta estación los trenes de la Línea B. En la Estación Acevedo, se conectan las líneas K y P del teleférico. El metro de Medellín tiene líneas de teleférico. La Línea C se bifurca en la Estación Caribe. Por lo general, no hay servicio de pasajeros en la Línea C y la vía del tren sigue las vías de la Línea B.

　麥德林(Medellín) 是 哥倫比亞 人口第二大城市，位於 海拔1500公尺的 安地斯山脈 阿布拉山谷。麥德林地鐵A線 沿著 麥德林河行駛。

San Antonio Train Station is located in the center of Medellin and serves as the starting point for Line B and streetcar(LRT). Line B is a short 5.5km rail line from San Antonio to San Javier.
　
There is a facility for turning trains south of Poblado Station. Olaya Herrera Airport, an airport for domestic flights, is located about 700m west of Poblado Station. The Line A ends at La Estrella station, which is 25.8 km from Niquia station. The train runs from 4 am in the morning until 10 pm at night, and travels between Niquia and La Estrella stations at a maximum speed of 80km/h and takes 40 minutes. In addition, for the construction of Line A, part of the track land is the site of the former Pacific Railway and the former Atlantic Railway's 914mm gauge railway lines.

　サンアントニオ駅はメデジンの中心部にある駅で、B線と路面電車の始発駅となっています。B線はサンアントニオからサンハビエルまでの5.5kmの短い鉄道路線です。
　ポブラド駅の南には電車の折り返し用の設備があります。ポブラ駅の西に700m程の地点には国内線用の空港であるオラヤ・エレーラ空港があります。A線は起点のニキア駅から25.8kmの地点にあるラ・エストレリャ駅が終点となります。電車は朝の４時台から夜の２２時台まで運行されていて、ニキア駅からラ・エストレリャ駅の間を最高時速80km/hで、所要時間40分で走ります。なお、A線の建設にあたり線路用地の一部は旧太平洋鉄道や旧大西洋鉄道の914mmゲージの鉄道路線の跡地を使用しています。

La estación de trenes de San Antonio está ubicada en el centro de Medellín y sirve como punto de partida para la Línea B y el tranvía (LRT). La Línea B es una línea ferroviaria corta de 5,5 km que va de San Antonio a San Javier. 
　
Hay una instalación para hacer girar los trenes al sur de la estación Poblado. El aeropuerto Olaya Herrera, un aeropuerto para vuelos nacionales, está ubicado a unos 700 m al oeste de la estación Poblado. La Línea A termina en la estación La Estrella, que se encuentra a 25,8 km de la estación Niquia. El tren circula desde las 4:00 de la mañana hasta las 10:00 de la noche, y viaja entre las estaciones Niquia y La Estrella a una velocidad máxima de 80 km/h y tarda 40 minutos. Además, para la construcción de la Línea A, parte del terreno de la vía es el sitio de las líneas ferroviarias de ancho de vía de 914 mm del antiguo Ferrocarril del Pacífico y del antiguo Ferrocarril del Atlántico.

　聖安東尼奧火車站 位於 麥德林市中心，是 B 線 和 電車 (LRT) 的起點。 B 線 是 從 聖安東尼奧 到 聖哈維爾的 5.5 公里短鐵路線。

Tranvía de Medellín

The Medellín Tram is a 4.2km line that runs from San Antonio Station in downtown to Oriente Station to the east. The line is a 5-car articulated tram that runs on a single rail, known as a transroller. Typical of Medellín, the line is characterized by its steep slope, and all stations are equipped with platform doors. The journey takes about 18 minutes from the starting point to the final destination.

　メデジントラムは、ダウンタウンのサン・アントニオ駅から東へオリエンテ駅までを結ぶ4.2kmの路線です。この路線は5連接車体の路面電車で、トランスロールという1本のレール上を走行する方式を採用しています。メデジンらしく、急な勾配を登るのがこの路線の特徴で、全ての駅にホームドアが設置されています。起点から終点まで約18分で走行します。

El Tranvía de Medellín es una línea de 4,2 km que va desde la Estación San Antonio en el centro de la ciudad hasta la Estación Oriente en el este. La línea es un tranvía articulado de 5 vagones que circula sobre un solo carril, conocido como transroller. Típico de Medellín, la línea se caracteriza por su pronunciada pendiente y todas las estaciones están equipadas con puertas de andén. El trayecto dura unos 18 minutos desde el punto de partida hasta el destino final.

　麥德林有軌電車(Tranvía de Medellín) 是 全長 4.2 公里的線路，從市中心的 聖安東尼奧車站 到 東部的 東方(Oriente)車站。該線路 是 一輛 5 輛車廂的 鉸接式電車，在 單軌（勞爾電車,Translohr）上運行。麥德林的 特點 是 坡度陡，所有車站 均設有月台門。從 出發地 到 最終目的地，車程約18分鐘。
