| This is a new railway line currently under construction in 2024 that will connect Auckland’s Waitemata Station (formerly Britomart Station) to Mangamau Station via an underground tunnel. Two stations will be added along the way, allowing users to travel by train from Auckland’s suburbs to Auckland’s CBD. オークランドのワイテマタ駅(旧ブリトマート駅)から地下トンネルでマンガマウ駅までを結ぶ2024年現在建設中の新しい鉄道路線です。途中に２駅が設けられ、利用者はオークランドの郊外からオークランドのCBD地区へ電車で行くことができるようになります。 Se trata de una nueva línea ferroviaria actualmente en construcción en 2024 que conectará la estación Waitemata de Auckland (anteriormente estación Britomart) con la estación Mangamau a través de un túnel subterráneo. Se agregarán dos estaciones a lo largo del camino, lo que permitirá a los usuarios viajar en tren desde los suburbios de Auckland hasta el CBD de Auckland. 這是一條目前正在建設中的新鐵路線，將於 2024 年建成，將透過地下隧道連接 奧克蘭的 懷特瑪塔站（原 布里托瑪特站）和 芒格豪站。沿途將增加兩個車站，方便使用者搭乘火車 從奧克蘭郊區 前往奧克蘭中央商務區。 |
The City Rail Link will have two stations along the way: Te Waihorotiu Station, which is the closest station to Aotea Centre, Auckland City Hall and SkyCity Auckland, and Karanga-a-Hape Station on Karanga-a-Hape Road.
When the City Rail Link is completed, most trains will no longer need to reverse at Waitemata Station. The junction near Waitemata Station consists of the 2 bi-level junctions, rather than a plane crossing like The Strand and New Market stations.
As the long-distance train "Northern Explorer" and commuter train "Te Huia" are diesel trains and are prohibited from entering the Britomart underground tunnel, so these trains will continue to depart from and arrive at The Strand Station even after the CRL opens.
シティ・レール・リンクは途中にアオテアセンター、オークランド市庁舎やスカイシティ・オークランドへの最寄り駅のテ・ワイホロティウ駅と、カランガ・ア・ハペ通りにあるカランガ・ア・ハぺ駅の２駅が設けられます。
シティ・レール・リンクが完成すると、列車のほとんどがワイテマタ駅での折り返しが不要となります。ワイテマタ駅付近のジャンクションは、ストランド駅やニューマーケット駅のような平面交差ではなく、立体交差のジャンクションとなります。
なお、長距離列車のノーザンエクスプローラー号と通勤列車のテ・フイア号はディーゼルカーで、ブリトマートの地下トンネルへの乗り入れが禁止されているため、列車はCRL開業以降もストランド駅発着のまま残ります。

| Construction is underway to convert the Southern Line (North Island Main Trunk) into a triple-track section from the freight terminal to Wiri. Once the triple-track construction is complete, one track will be used by freight trains and the remaining two tracks will be used by passenger trains, achieving separation of freight and passengers. Additionally, electrification work (AC 25kv 50hz) is underway from Papakura Station, which is the terminal station of the Southern Line in 2024, south to Pukekohe Station, and three new stations will be built between Papakura Station and Pukekohe Station. 南線(北島幹線)の貨物ターミナルからウィリーまでの区間で3線化工事が進行中です。３線化工事が完了すると、1線を貨物列車が、残りの2線を旅客列車が使用し、貨客分離が実現できます。 また、2024年現在南線の終点となっているパパクラ駅からさらに南へ、プケコヘ駅までの電化工事(交流25kv 50hz)が進行中で、パパクラ駅～プケコヘ駅間で3つの新駅が設置されます。 Se están realizando obras para convertir la Línea Sur (Troncal Principal de la Isla Norte) en un tramo de triple vía desde la terminal de carga hasta Wiri. | The number of trains will increase. Reducing train turns at Waitemata (Britomart) station will significantly increase maximum train frequency on Auckland Railways, allowing trains to run every five minutes. In addition, direct service to other routes will begin via Auckland’s CBD. 列車の本数が増加します。ワイテマタ(ブリトマート)駅での列車の折り返しが減少することで、オークランドの鉄道における列車の最大運転本数が大幅に増加し、列車の5分毎の運転が可能になります。 また、オークランドの中心業務地区を経由して他の路線への直通運転が開始されます。 El número de trenes aumentará. There are plans to run the local trains every 15 minutes from the Eastern Line to the Western Line, every 30 minutes from the Onehunga Line to the Westen Line, every 15 minutes from Pukekohe on the Southern Line back to Otahuhu via downtown Auckland, and the express trains every 30 minutes from Waitemata(Britomart) to Pukekohe station on the Southern Line via the Eastern Line.

| With the opening of the City Rail Link, the number of trains running will increase significantly, which will increase the number of people using the railway and is expected to ease car traffic congestion in the Auckland metropolitan area. In particular, the newly constructed Drury Central Station, Drury West Station, and Paerata Station will have vast parking lots at the stations to encourage park-and-rides where passengers can switch from cars to trains at the stations and head towards Auckland.
