The line, also known as the Wynyard Loop Tram, runs a 1.5km loop around Auckland's harbor district near the city centre. The line, which began operating on August 6, 2011, is operated by trains previously used in Melbourne. The tram line runs through Wynyard Quarter, a reclaimed land at Auckland's Waitemata Harbour, and takes about 10 minutes to complete a circuit clockwise. The train runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays, Long weekends and Holidays, and fares are $2 for adults and $1 for children. It runs about 1km west of Auckland Metro's Waitemata Station (formerly Britomart Station).

La línea, también conocida como Wynyard Loop Tram, recorre un circuito de 1,5 kilómetros alrededor del distrito portuario de Auckland, cerca del centro de la ciudad. La línea, que entró en funcionamiento el 6 de agosto de 2011, es operada por trenes utilizados anteriormente en Melbourne. La línea de tranvía atraviesa Wynyard Quarter, un terreno ganado al mar en el puerto Waitemata de Auckland, y tarda unos 10 minutos en completar un circuito en el sentido de las agujas del reloj. El tren circula de 10 a 16 horas. los domingos, fines de semana largos y feriados, y las tarifas son de $2 para adultos y $1 para niños. The Western Springs Tramway is a tram operated by the Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT) that runs from the Great North Road, where the main building is located, to the Aviation Hall. The main feature of this line is that it has a dual gauge of 1,219mm gauge (4ft gauge) and 1,435mm gauge (4ft 8+1⁄2). Trains on this line stop at Auckland Zoo Station and have three other request stops along the way. It runs daily and fares are free. The "Big Ben" tram used in Wellington has an observation seat on the second(first) floor.

El Western Springs Tramway es un tranvía operado por el Museo de Transporte y Tecnología (MOTAT) que va desde Great North Road, donde se encuentra el edificio principal, hasta el Aviation Hall. La principal característica de esta línea es que tiene un ancho dual de 1.219 mm de ancho (4 pies de ancho) y 1.435 mm de ancho (4 pies 8+1⁄2). Los trenes de esta línea paran en la estación del zoológico de Auckland y tienen otras tres paradas solicitadas en el camino. Funciona todos los días y las tarifas son gratuitas. At Aviation Hall at the end of the tram line, steam locomotives(and so on) of the New Zealand Government Railway are preserved in working condition, and can be seen running on the Western Springs Railway during an event every third Sunday of the week.
路面電車の終点の航空館では、ニュージーランド政府鉄道の蒸気機関車等が動態保存されており、ウェスタン・スプリングス鉄道という路線で毎週第３日曜日のイベントで走行する姿を見ることができます。
En Aviation Hall, al final de la línea del tranvía, las locomotoras(etc.) de vapor del Ferrocarril del Gobierno de Nueva Zelanda se conservan en condiciones de funcionamiento y se pueden ver funcionando en el Ferrocarril de Western Springs durante un evento cada tercer domingo de la semana.
在 電車線路盡頭的 航空館，新西蘭政府鐵路的蒸汽機車（等）仍 保持工作狀態，在 每週第三個星期日的活動期間 可以 看到 在 西泉鐵路 上運行。
