Maeklong Railway is approximately 65km route operated by the SRT(State Railway of Thailand) that connects Wongwian Yai Station in southwestern Bangkok to Maeklong near the mouth of the Maeklong River. The line is divided by the Tha Chin River, with the eastern side of the river being called the Mahachai Line (Wongwian Yai-Mahatchai Line), and the western side called the Maeklong Line (Ban Laem-Maeklong Line). These lines were originally private railways, these were nationalized, are characterized by their isolation from other SRT railway lines. Additionally, these lines do not use signals, and the Mahachai Line uses radio communication to direct trains at stations along the way. メークロン鉄道(ทางรถไฟสายแม่กลอง)は、タイ国鉄(SRT)が運営している、バンコク南西部のウォンウィアン・ヤイ(วงเวียนใหญ่)駅からメークロン川の河口付近のメークロン(แม่กลอง)までを結ぶ約65kmの鉄道路線です。ターチーン川で線路は分断されており、川の東側はマハーチャイ(มหาชัย)線(ウォンウィアン・ヤイ=マハーチャイ線)、西側はメークロン(แม่กลอง)線(バーンレーム=メークローン線)と呼ばれます。 これらの路線は元々私鉄が国有化されたもので、その他のSRTの鉄道路線から孤立しているのが特徴です。また、これらの路線では信号を採用しておらず、マハチャイ線においては無線交信により途中駅における列車の行き違いを行います。 El ferrocarril Maeklong es una ruta de aproximadamente 65 km operada por el SRT (Ferrocarril Estatal de Tailandia) que conecta la estación Wongwian Yai en el suroeste de Bangkok con Maeklong, cerca de la desembocadura del río Maeklong. The Mahachai Line train departs from Wongwian Yai Station, located on the west side of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, near Wongwian Yai Rotary, famous for the statue of King Taksin the Great. This station is located about a 10-minute walk northwest of the station of the same name on Bangkok's elevated BTS Silom Line. As of November 2024, there are 17 round trips per day on this route. Along this line from Wongwian Yai in Bangkok, the tracks and buildings are very close together, similar to the railway in Hanoi in Vietnam, and there are many stalls lined up at Wongwian Yai station.
The train travels 31km from Wongwian Station to Mahachai Station in approximately 50 to 60 minutes. Some trains pass through the stations marked with ※, so please check before using these stations.
マハチャイ線は、バンコクのチャオプラヤー川の西側、タクシン大王像で有名なウォンウィアン・ヤイ・ロータリー付近にあるウォンウィアン・ヤイ(วงเวียนใหญ่)駅を発着します。この駅はバンコクの高架鉄道、BTSのシーロム線の同名の駅から北西へ徒歩約10分の場所にあります。この路線では2024年11月現在、1日17往復の列車が運転されています。バンコクにおけるウォンウィアン・ヤイからのこの路線の沿線は、ベトナムのハノイの鉄道と同様に線路と建物が非常に密接しており、ウォンウィアン・ヤイ駅には多くの露店が並びます。

El tren de la línea Mahachai sale de la estación Wongwian Yai, ubicada en el lado oeste del río Chao Phraya en Bangkok, cerca del rotativo Wongwian Yai, famoso por la estatua del rey Taksin el Grande. Esta estación está ubicada a unos 10 minutos a pie al noroeste de la estación del mismo nombre en la línea elevada BTS Silom de Bangkok. A noviembre de 2024, hay 17 viajes de ida y vuelta por día en esta ruta. A lo largo de esta línea desde Wongwian Yai en Bangkok, las vías y los edificios están muy juntos, similar al ferrocarril de Hanoi en Vietnam, y hay muchos puestos alineados en la estación de Wongwian Yai.

Mahachai Station, the last stop on the Mahachai Line, is a station facing the Tha Chin River and has a depot. Passengers connecting to the Maeklong Line will transfer to a boat at Mahachai and head across the river to Ban Laem. The boat journey takes about 5 minutes.
マハ―チャイ線の終点のマハ―チャイ(มหาชัย)駅は、車庫を有するターチーン川に面した駅です。メークロン線に乗り継ぐ乗客はマハ―チャイで渡し船に乗り換え、川の対岸のバーンレーム(บ้านแหลม)へ向かいます。船の所要時間は約5分です。
La estación Mahachai, la última parada de la línea Mahachai, es una estación frente al río Tha Chin y tiene un depósito. Los pasajeros que hagan conexión con la línea Maeklong se trasladarán a un barco en Mahachai y cruzarán el río hasta Ban Laem. El viaje en barco dura unos 5 minutos.
瑪哈猜(Mahachai) 站 是 瑪哈猜線的 最後一站，是一個面向 他欽(Tha Chin) 河的車站，設有車庫。轉乘 美功線(Maeklong Line)的乘客 將在 瑪哈猜 換乘 船隻，然後過河 前往 班蘭(Ban Laem)。船程大約需要5分鐘。

The Maeklong Line runs from Bang Laem Station, a station on the west bank of the Tha Chin River, to Maeklong Station, which faces the Maeklong River. While the aforementioned Mahachai Line has 17 round trip trains a day, this line only has 4 round trip trains a day. The entire line takes 1 hour.
Only one trainset is used, and there is basically no chance of crossing with the other trains at stations along the way. In the unfortunate event that a train malfunctions and becomes inoperable, this route will be suspended.
There is a plan to extend the line from Maeklong Station to Pak Tho Station on the Southern Main Line by approximately 20km, but this is still at the conceptual stage.
メークロン線はターチーン川の西岸の駅であるバーンレーム(บ้านแหลม)駅から、メークロン川に面するメークロン(แม่กลอง)駅までを結ぶ路線です。先述のマハチャイ線では列車は1日17往復運転されているのに対し、この路線では1日4往復のみ列車が運行されています。全線の所要時間は1時間です。
車両は1編成のみが使用されており、途中の駅で他の列車と行き違いを行うことは基本的にありません。なお、運悪く列車に故障等が発生して動かなくなった場合、この路線は運休となってしまいます。
この路線ではメークロン駅から、南本線のパークトー(ปากท่อ)駅まで約20km延伸する計画がありますが、これは未だ構想段階にとどまっています。
La línea Maeklong va desde la estación Bang Laem, una estación en la orilla occidental del río Tha Chin, hasta la estación Maeklong, que mira al río Maeklong. Mientras que la mencionada línea Mahachai tiene 17 trenes de ida y vuelta al día, esta línea solo cuenta con 4 trenes de ida y vuelta al día. Toda la línea tarda 1 hora.
Sólo se utiliza un tren y básicamente no hay posibilidad de cruzarse con otros trenes en las estaciones a lo largo del camino. En el desafortunado caso de que un tren funcione mal y quede inoperable, esta ruta será suspendida.
Existe un plan para extender la línea desde la estación Maeklong hasta la estación Pak Tho en la Línea Principal Sur en aproximadamente 20 km, pero esto aún se encuentra en la etapa conceptual.
美功線 是 從 他欽河(Tha Chin River)西岸的 班蘭(Bang Laem)站 到 面對 美功河(Maeklong River)的 美功(Maeklong)站 的 鐵路線。雖然 前面提到的 瑪哈猜(Mahachai)線 每天有17班往返火車，但該線 每天只有 4班往返火車。整個線路需要1小時。

The Maeklong Railway Market is located just before Maeklong Station, the last stop on the Maeklong Line. The market is located on the Maeklong Line and is locally known as Talat Lom Happ (ตลาดร่มหุบ), which means foldable awning. When a train approaches, a broadcast is played, and store staff use this as a signal to clear away parasols and other products on display and wait for the train to pass. Many tourists, including foreigners, visit this place to see this rare sight.
メークロン線の終点、メークロン駅のすぐ手前には、メークロン鉄道市場があります。この市場はメークロン線の線路上にあり、地元では折りたたみの日よけを意味する、タラート ロム ハップ(ตลาดร่มหุบ)と呼ばれています。列車が接近する際には放送が流れ、それを合図に店員はパラソルや陳列していた商品を片付けて列車の通過を待ちます。この珍しい光景を見に海外を含めた多くの観光客がこの場所を訪れます。
El mercado ferroviario de Maeklong se encuentra justo antes de la estación Maeklong, la última parada de la línea Maeklong. El mercado está ubicado en la línea Maeklong y se conoce localmente como Talat Lom Happ (ตลาดร่มหุบ), que significa toldo plegable. Cuando se acerca un tren, se reproduce una retransmisión y el personal de la tienda la utiliza como señal para retirar las sombrillas y otros productos expuestos y esperar a que pase el tren. Muchos turistas, incluidos extranjeros, visitan este lugar para ver este espectáculo poco común.
