Etihad Rail is the national railway line of the United Arab Emirates that opened in 2016. The north-south line from Shah, which is located in the oil fields, to the port city of Ruwais on the Persian Gulf opened in 2016, and the east-west line from the port city of Fujairah on the Gulf of Oman to the town of Ghuwewifat on the border with Saudi Arabia opened in 2023.

The track width is standard gauge and it is not electrified. Only the Sharjah-Dubai-Abu Dhabi and Tarif-Ruwais sections are double tracked, and the other sections are single track with preparatory work for double track on the roadbed only. The design speed is 120km/h for freight trains and 200km/h for passenger trains, and as of February 2025, only freight trains are in operation.

Regarding passenger trains, there are plans to establish a new route connecting Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but no specific start date has been given.

　エティハド鉄道は、2016年に開業したアラブ首長国連邦の国営鉄道路線です。2016年に油田のあるシャーからペルシャ湾の港町であるルワイスまでの南北路線が開業し、2023年にオマーン湾の港湾都市フジャイラからサウジアラビア国境の町グワイファトまでの東西路線が開業しました。
　線路幅は標準軌を採用しており、電化はされていません。シャル―ジャ～ドバイ～アブダビ間とタリフ～ルワイス間のみが複線化されており、その他の区間は路盤のみ複線化の準備工事を施した単線となっています。設計速度は貨物列車が120km/h、旅客列車が200km/hとなっており、2025年2月現在は貨物列車のみが運行されています。
　旅客列車に関しては、ドバイとアブダビを結ぶ系統を新設する計画がありますが、具体的な営業開始日時は示されていません。

Etihad Rail es la línea ferroviaria nacional de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos que se inauguró en 2016. La línea norte-sur desde Shah, que se encuentra en los campos petrolíferos, hasta la ciudad portuaria de Ruwais en el Golfo Pérsico se inauguró en 2016, y la línea este-oeste desde la ciudad portuaria de Fujairah en el Golfo de Omán hasta la ciudad de Ghuwewifat en la frontera con Arabia Saudita se inauguró en 2023.

El ancho de vía es estándar y no está electrificado. Solo los tramos Sharjah-Dubái-Abu Dabi y Tarif-Ruwais son de vía doble, y los demás tramos son de vía única con trabajos preparatorios para la vía doble solo en la plataforma. La velocidad de diseño es de 120 km/h para trenes de mercancías y 200 km/h para trenes de pasajeros, y a partir de febrero de 2025, solo están en funcionamiento trenes de mercancías.

Respecto a los trenes de pasajeros, hay planes para establecer una nueva ruta que conecte Dubai y Abu Dhabi, pero no se ha dado ninguna fecha de inicio específica.

The Etihad Rail line will eventually become part of the Gulf Railway, which will run from Muscat, Oman, through the UAE and Saudi Arabia to Kuwait, and will also have branch lines to Qatar and Bahrain, but construction work has not progressed much outside the UAE.

　エティハド鉄道の路線は将来、オマーンの首都マスカットからUAE、サウジアラビアを経由してクウェートまでを結ぶ湾岸鉄道の一部となる予定です。この鉄道はカタールやバーレーンへの支線も建設される予定です。しかし、UAE以外の場所では建設工事はあまり進んでいないのが現状です。

La línea ferroviaria Etihad eventualmente se convertirá en parte del Ferrocarril del Golfo, que se extenderá desde Mascate, Omán, a través de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos y Arabia Saudita hasta Kuwait, y también tendrá ramales a Qatar y Bahréin, pero los trabajos de construcción no han progresado mucho fuera de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos.

　阿提哈德鐵路線 最終將成 為 海灣鐵路 的一部分，該鐵路 將 從 阿曼 馬斯喀特 出發，途經 阿聯酋 和 沙特阿拉伯 到達 科威特，還將 有 支線 前往 卡達 和 巴林，但在 阿聯酋 以外的地區 建設工作 尚未取得太大進展。
