Tokyo Haneda Airport is served by two railways: the Tokyo Monorail and the Keikyu Line. This page focuses on the Tokyo Monorail.

The Tokyo Monorail Haneda Airport Line connects Hamamatsucho in Minato-ku,Tokyo to Tokyo Haneda International Airport.Hamamatsucho is the third stop on the Yamanote Line and Kehin-Tohoku Line from Tokyo Station, and the first stop on the Kehin-Tohoku Line rapid train (operates only during the daytime).

There was once a plan to extend this line towards Shinbashi/Tokyo Station, but the plan fell through and preparations are now underway for the construction of JR's Haneda Airport Access Line from Tokyo terminal to Haneda Airport.

There is also a Toei Subway station called Daimon Station near Hamamatsucho, and the Toei Oedo Line, which is a loop line in Tokyo, and the Toei Asakusa Line, which runs for Nihonbashi and Asakusa, depart from that station.

The next stop after Hamamatsucho is Tennozu Isle, where passengers can change to the Rinkai Line for Odaiba.

Oi-Keibajo have a racetracks and is crowded with many customers on horse racing days. "Airport rapid" trains may make temporary stops.

Ryutsu-Center is the logistics base for the Port of Tokyo, with warehouses and a JR cargo terminal station nearby.

Showajima Station is a station with two platforms and four tracks, and some trains that stop at every station have to wait for the "Airport rapid" trains to pass. After leaving Hamamatsucho, the "Airport rapid" trains do not stop until Hanada Airport Terminal 3 station.

東京羽田空港には、東京モノレールと京急線の２つの鉄道が乗り入れています。このうちこのページでは東京モノレールを取り上げます。

東京モノレール羽田空港線は、東京港区の浜松町と　東京羽田空港を結びます。浜松町は、東京駅から山手線と京浜東北線の各駅停車で３駅目、京浜東北線の快速(昼間のみ運行)で１駅目にある駅です。

かつては新橋・東京駅方面への延伸計画も存在しましたが、計画は頓挫し　JRの羽田空港アクセス線の建設の準備が進められています。

また、浜松町の近くには大門駅という都営地下鉄の駅があり、環状線である都営大江戸線と、日本橋・浅草方面の都営浅草線が走ります。

浜松町の次は天王洲アイルで、お台場へ行くりんかい線に乗り換えることができます。

大井競馬場には競馬場があり、競馬開催日には多くのお客さんで賑わいます。臨時で空港快速が停車することがあります。

流通センターは東京港の物流の拠点で、倉庫やJR貨物のターミナル駅があります。

昭和島駅はプラットホーム２面　線路４線の駅で、各駅停車は空港快速の通過待ちを行います。空港快速は浜松町を出ると次は花田空港第３ターミナルまで止まりません。

There is aircraft maintenance yards at Seibijo station. In addition to airlines, there is parking space for aircraft of the Japan Coast Guard and news organizations.

Passengers can transfer to the Keikyu Line at Tenkubashi station. This station used to be called "Haneda Station" and was the last stop on the Keikyu Line. When the Keikyu Line was extended to Haneda Airport in 1998, Tokyo Monorail began operating rapid trains in 2003 as a countermeasure.

Haneda Airport Terminal 3 is a new terminal that handles international flights at Haneda Airport, and its design has been devised so that users can get to the terminal without having to climb stairs as much as possible.

When the train leaves Terminal 3 Station, it goes underground, and after passing Shin-Seibijo station, the new aircraft maintenance facility, it arrives at Haneda Airport Terminal 1 Station. Terminal 1 mainly serves JAL and Skymark domestic flights.In the future, government plans to increase the number of aircraft spots and move JAL's international flights from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1.

The final stop is Haneda Airport Terminal 2, which is mainly used by ANA, AIRDO,and Solaseed Air.In recent years, an international flight area has been built, and some of ANA's international flights now depart from and arrive at Terminal 2. Passengers on ANA's international flights must check their tickets to make sure they are departing from Terminal 3 or Terminal 1.

整備場駅には航空機の整備場があります。航空会社のほか、海上保安庁や報道機関の航空機の駐機場があります。

天空橋では京急線に乗り換えることができます。かつてはこの駅は羽田駅という名前で、京急線の終点でした。1998年に京急線が延伸し羽田空港に乗り入れると、東京モノレールは対抗策として2003年から快速電車の運行を始めました。

羽田空港第３ターミナルは羽田空港の国際線を取り扱う新しいターミナルで、利用者は極力階段移動をせずにターミナルに行けるよう設計が工夫されています。

第３ターミナル駅を出ると地下に入り、新整備場を過ぎると羽田空港第１ターミナル駅に到着します。第１ターミナルは主にJALとスカイマークの国内線が発着します。将来　航空機のスポットを増やしてJALの国際線を第３ターミナルから第１ターミナルに移す予定です。

終点は羽田空港第２ターミナルで、ANAとAIRDO　ソラシドエアが主に使用します。近年国際線エリアが出来、ANAの一部の国際線の便が第２ターミナルから発着するようになっています。ANAの国際線の利用者は第３ターミナル発着か第１ターミナル発着か間違えないよう、チケットを確認する必要があります。
