On this page, I shouw rail track maps of the "Southern Railway" of the States Railway of Thailand (SRT) from Thung Son to Padang Besar, a town on the border with Malaysia. Thung Son district is a town located about 750km south of Bangkok. There is a train depot at this station, and the Kang Tang Branch Line branches off from the Southern Railway. Kang Tang district is a town facing the Andaman Sea with a population of 86,751 (2021), and the Kang Tang branch line has two round trips, one local train and one express train. There used to be a track that ran from Kang Tang Station to Kang Tang Pier, but it has now been discontinued. The Southern Railway passes through the Chong Khao Tunnel and reaches Khao Chum Thong. Here there is a branch line that goes north to Nakhon Si Thammarat in the city of Muannakhon Si Thammarat. Muannakhon Si Thammarat is a city facing the Gulf of Thailand with a population of 270,514 (2021). The word "Nakhon Si Thammarat" means "city of noble kings,'' and this place is also the ancient capital of the former kingdom of Nakhon Si Thammarat.
こちらのページでは、タイ国鉄 SRTの 南本線の トゥンソンから マレーシアとの国境の町 パダン・ブサールまでの線路地図を紹介します。 トゥンソン地区は、バンコクから南に750kmのところに位置する町です。この駅には車両基地があり、南本線からはカンタン支線が分岐します。カンタン地区は人口86,751人を有するアンダマン海に面する町で、カンタン支線には普通列車と急行列車が各々1往復ずつ、合計２往復が走ります。かつてはカンタン駅からカンタン桟橋まで線路が続いていましたが、現在は廃止されています。 南本線はチョンカオトンネルを抜けると、カオチュムトーンに至ります。ここには北へ ムアンナコーンシータマラート市にあるナコーン シー タンマラートへむかう支線があります。ムアンナコーンシータマラート市は人口270,514人(2021年)を有するタイ湾に面する都市です。ナコンシータンマラートという言葉には、「高潔な王の街」という意味があり、この地はかつてのナコンシータマラート王国の古都でもあります。
The Southern Railway leaves Khao Chum Thong and heads south, passing through Cha-uat and reaching Phatthalung, the capital of Phatthalung Province.
南本線はカオチュムトーンを出るとそこから南下し、チャウワットを経由してパッタルン県の県都 パッタルンに至ります。
The train continues south to Hat Yai Junction Station in Hat Yai. From Hat Yai Junction, the Southern Main Line heads to Su-ngai Kolok along the east coast, while trains bound for Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia enter the Padang Besar branch line from there. There used to be a branch line from north of Hat Yai Junction Station that went all the way to Songkhla city, but it was abolished in 1978.
Hat Yai Junction Station serves as the Thai SRT's operating base in southern Thailand and has a depot and yard. Hat Yai district is a city in southern Thailand with a population of 404,044 people (2021), which is more populous than Songkhla city, the capital of Songkhla province where Hat Yai district is located.
列車はさらに南へ進み、ハジャイにあるハジャイジャンクション駅に至ります。ハジャイジャンクションから南本線は東海岸沿いのスンガイコーロックへ向かいますが、マレーシアのクアラルンプール方面への列車はここからパダン・プサール支線に入ります。なお、ハジャイジャンクション駅から北へは、かつてソンクラーまで行く支線がありましたが、1978年に廃止されました。 ハジャイジャンクション駅はタイSRTのタイ南部の運行拠点として機能していて、車庫とヤードが併設されています。ハジャイ地区は人口404,044人(2021年)を抱えるタイ南部の都市で、ハジャイのあるソンクラー県の県庁所在地ソンクラーよりも人口が多いです。
Padang Besar Station is a station on the border between Thailand and Malaysia, and there are stations in both Thailand and Malaysia. A train from the Statel Railways of Thailand (SRT) enters Padang Besar Station in Malaysia and meets Malaysia KTM trains. The express train runs from Thung Son Junction Station to Phatthalung Station in about 90 minutes, from Phatthalung Station to Hat Yai Junction Station in about 70 minutes, and from Hat Yai Junction to Padang Besar in about 45 minutes. There are plans to double track the Southern Railway from Thung Son Junction to Padang Besar.
パダン・ブサール駅はタイとマレーシアの国境にある駅で、タイとマレーシア双方に駅があります。タイ国鉄 ＳＲＴの列車はマレーシアのパダン・ブサール駅に入り、マレーシア国鉄のＫＴＭの電車と顔を合わせます。
特急列車はトゥンソンジャンクション駅からパッタルン駅までは約90分、パッタルン駅からハジャイジャンクション駅までは約70分、ハジャイジャンクションからパダン・ブサールまでは約45分で走ります。
なお、南本線ではトゥンソンジャンクションからパダン・ブサールまで複線化される計画があります。
