HSL-Zuid is the first high-speed rail line in the Netherlands. The "Thalys", which runs on this route from Amsterdam to Paris, France, and the "Eurostar", which runs from Amsterdam to London, UK, run at a maximum speed of 300 km/h. "ICNG Intercity" in the domestic routes runs on this line at a maximum speed of 200km/h. This page introduces the section of HSL-Zuid from Amsterdam to Rotterdam.

　HSL-Zuidは、オランダ初の高速鉄道路線です。この路線をアムステルダムからフランスのパリまでを走る「タリス」と、アムステルダムから英国のロンドンまでを走る「ユーロスター」は最高時速300km/hで走行します。オランダ国内のICNGインターシティはこの路線を最高時速200km/hで走行します。このページでは、HSL-Zuidのうちアムステルダムからロッテルダムまでの区間を紹介します。

The train runs from Amsterdam Centraal Station to Schiphol Airport on the Amsterdam-Schiphol Railway Line at a maximum speed of 130 km/h and takes approximately 15 minutes. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is the hub airport of the Netherlands, and is the base for KLM Airlines and SkyTeam, one of the three major airline alliances, and it has a total of 6 runways(with five runways over 3,000 meters long and one runway 2,014 meters long). 

　列車はアムステルダム中央駅からスキポール空港まではアムステルダム・スキポール空港線を最高速度130km/hで、所要時間約15分で走行します。アムステルダム・スキポール空港はオランダのハブ空港で、KLM航空ならびに3大航空連合の１つである「スカイチーム」の拠点で、長さ3,000mを超える滑走路が５本、2,014mの滑走路が１本の合計6本の滑走路を有しています。

On the section from Schiphol Airport to Rotterdam, trains enter HSL-Zuid and travel at a maximum speed of 300 km/h. The train journey from Schiphol Airport to Rotterdam Centraal Station is 47 km and takes approximately 30 minutes.

　スキポール空港からロッテルダムまでの区間では、列車はHSL-Zuidに入り、最高速度300km/ｈで走行します。スキポール空港からロッテルダム中央駅までは47kmの道のりで、列車は約30分で走行します。
