Colombia's Atlantic Railway is a railway line that runs through the interior of Colombia from Santa Marta, a port city facing the Atlantic Ocean (Caribbean). The track gauge of this line is 914mm.
Santa Marta is a historic city, famous as the place where Simón Bolívar spent his last days. There is an export port, and goods such as agricultural products and coal are transported by rail. Santa Marta is also a resort area. The population of the metropolitan area exceeds 500,000.
The 159km section from Santa Marta to Fundación is the Santa Marta Railway. Along the railway line, agricultural products such as bananas and coffee are cultivated, and livestock farming is popular. Approximately half of this line has been double-tracked due to a recent project to increase freight traffic.
There are three coal docks on the section from Santa Marta to Cienaga.

サンタ・マルタからフンダシオンまでの159kmの区間はサンタ マルタ鉄道という路線です。沿線ではバナナやコーヒーなどの農産物の栽培や、畜産業が盛んです。この路線は近年の貨物輸送量増大プロジェクトにより、路線の半分程度が複線化されています。
サンタ・マルタからシエナガまでの区間には３か所の石炭ドックがあります。
El Ferrocarril del Atlántico de Colombia es una línea ferroviaria que recorre el interior de Colombia desde Santa Marta, una ciudad portuaria frente al océano Atlántico (Caribe). El ancho de vía de esta línea es de 914 mm.
Santa Marta es una ciudad histórica, famosa por ser el lugar donde Simón Bolívar pasó sus últimos días. Hay un puerto de exportación y se transportan mercancías como productos agrícolas y carbón por ferrocarril. Santa Marta también es una zona turística. La población del área metropolitana supera los 500.000 habitantes.
El tramo de 159 km de Santa Marta a Fundación es el Ferrocarril de Santa Marta. A lo largo de la línea ferroviaria, se cultivan productos agrícolas como plátanos y café, y la ganadería es popular. Aproximadamente la mitad de esta línea se ha duplicado debido a un proyecto reciente para aumentar el tráfico de mercancías.
Hay tres muelles de carbón en el tramo de Santa Marta a Ciénaga.

從 聖瑪爾塔(Santa Marta) 到 Fundación的159公里路段 是 聖瑪爾塔 鐵路。鐵路沿線種植香蕉、咖啡等農產品，畜牧業盛行。由於最近的一個增加貨運量的項目，該線路大約一半是複線。
從 聖瑪爾塔(Santa Marta) 到 謝納加(Ciénaga)的路段有三個煤炭碼頭。
Beyond the Fundación, the train enters the Atlantic Railway section. Most of the line is double-tracked up to the La Loma junction, and coal trains run from the coal mines towards Santa Marta.

Más allá de la Fundación, el tren ingresa al tramo del Ferrocarril del Atlántico. La mayor parte de la línea es de doble vía hasta el nudo de La Loma y los trenes carboneros circulan desde las minas de carbón hacia Santa Marta.

The area south of Chiriguaná Station is the Central Railway section. As of 2024, the approximately 600 km section from Santa Marta to La Dorada is operated by a freight railway company called Northern Columbia Railway(Ferrocarriles del Norte de Colombia, FENOCO).

La zona al sur de la Estación Chiriguaná es el tramo del Ferrocarril Central. A partir de 2024, el tramo de aproximadamente 600 km desde Santa Marta hasta La Dorada es operado por una empresa ferroviaria de carga llamada Ferrocarriles del Norte de Colombia (FENOCO).
奇里瓜納站以南的區域 是 中央鐵路段。截至 2024 年，從 聖瑪爾塔(Santa Marta) 到 拉多拉達(La Dorada)的 約 600 公里路段 由一家名為 北哥倫比亞鐵路（Ferrocarriles del Norte de Columbia，FENOCO）的 貨運鐵路公司營運。
